Welcome to the demo

This is a short tour of Heat Connect, set up for a Shopify store. You will see exactly how you sell your supplier's products without holding stock or shipping parcels yourself. Click Next to start.

1 · Your own portal, your connected supplier

You log in to your own Connect portal and immediately see which supplier is connected to your account and how many products are ready. In this demo, thousands of products are waiting for you. No software to install, no technical hassle.

2 · Filter and choose what you want to sell

You don't have to take over the whole catalogue. Filter by section, category, brand or item number until you see exactly the products that fit your range, tick them and add them to the queue.

Try it yourself: click Add selected to queue.

3 · The mapping is already set up

This is where the power lies. The supplier's mapping has been set up in advance, so all product data comes in automatically and correctly: title, description, photos, variants, price, stock, EAN and brand. You don't have to configure anything. For the structure, you choose whether products follow the supplier's category structure or whether you link them to your own categories.

Choose Choose manually to link your products to your own categories, and at the bottom click Continue to import.

4 · Import with one click

You start the import and the selected products go to your Shopify store, complete. You don't have to wait: if you close the tab, the hub simply finishes in the background.

5 · Or import everything at once

Don't want to filter piece by piece? With the bulk import you put the whole catalogue in your store at once. At most you tick what you don't want (sections, categories, brands or individual items) and the rest is imported automatically. Ideal for setting up a complete range quickly.

6 · Or let Heat Connect propose the structure

With Smart import, Heat Connect uses AI to look at your own web shop: which categories you already have and how your store is structured. For each supplier category you get a proposal for the category of your store the products belong in, or a new category if nothing fits yet. You stay in control: you adjust, exclude whole groups or individual products and only import when it is right.

Try it yourself: click Analyse with AI, click the cross next to Care & Pest Control and then click Approve and import.

7 · And there it is in your store

This is what your Shopify range looks like after the import. Every product is listed neatly with status, stock, category and the supplier as vendor. Exactly like a product added by hand, but automatic and error-free.

8 · Stock and price keep themselves up to date

This is why you do it. Every night, Connect automatically updates the selling prices and stock in your store from your supplier. If something sells out or a price changes, your store adjusts the selling price by itself. You no longer have to worry about stock and prices on your site.

9 · How to handle incoming orders

Your products are in your store and keep themselves up to date. Now the orders. Note for Shopify: there can be no forwarding button in the store itself, so you do this in your Connect portal. This is how it works:

10 · Forward the order to the supplier

Shopify does not allow a button in your store, so this happens in your Connect portal. Every Shopify order comes in under Orders; you open one and forward the dropship lines to the right supplier. Lines that are not from a supplier (a product you stock yourself) stay grey and you can hide them if you like.

11 · The supplier delivers, you keep the overview

After forwarding, the order in Shopify automatically gets a tag and a note, so you always see what has been forwarded and to which supplier. What happens next depends on your agreements with the supplier: either you order from the supplier and the shipment comes to you first, or the supplier delivers the order directly to your customer.

Orders

An order comes in. Now what?

A customer places an order in your Shopify store. Shopify does not allow an extra button or code in your store, so you forward it to your supplier in your Connect portal.

1. The order comes in

Your customer's order comes into your web shop as usual.

2. You forward it

In your Connect portal you send the supplier lines on with one click.

3. The supplier processes it

The supplier receives the order and processes it as you agreed.
